Golden is a small town in British Columbia, Canada. It is near six national parks namely Mt Revelstoke National Park, Glacier, Yoho, Banff, Kootenay, and Jasper National Park.
I spent one night in Golden and headed straight to Revelstoke the next day. Here’s the three places that you should not miss when you visit Golden, BC!
My most recent winter getaway was Banff National Park. I’ve visited Banff a few times during the summer months, but this is my first time to see the mountains during winter. Banff is open all year-round. It was -17 when I visited it this year. I highly recommend an AWD vehicle with winter tires or all weather tires when visiting the mountains.
